Side-Pass Stables was created with one simple goal: to provide a safe, well-managed home where horses receive consistent, thoughtful care and the people who love them feel supported and welcome.

We believe a great barn is more than stalls and fences. It’s built on good horsemanship, clear communication, shared responsibility, and mutual respect. Our focus is on doing the basics exceptionally well, every single day.

Our Philosophy

At Side-Pass Stables, horses come first. That means dependable daily routines, quality feed and turnout, clean and well-maintained facilities, and attentive oversight of every horse in our care. Consistency and good horsemanship are the foundation of everything we do.

In 2023, we, Trish and Charles, took on Side Kicks, the former facility, with a vision to thoughtfully evolve it into Side-Pass Stables. Since then, we have made ongoing improvements to the property and operations to enhance safety, functionality, and the overall experience for both horses and owners.

Daily operations at Side-Pass are overseen by our Barn Manager, Cari, whose focus is on maintaining consistent care standards, clear communication, and a well-run barn environment. Her presence ensures that routines are followed, the facility is well maintained, and horses receive the attention they deserve.

Just as important as horse care is the barn community. We value boarders who care deeply about their horses, respect the property, and contribute positively to the shared environment. Side-Pass is a place where people look out for one another, lend a hand when needed, and take pride in being part of a barn that is thoughtfully run.

We host regular Owner’s Days and encourage involvement while maintaining clear boundaries that keep operations running smoothly.
